fitting tips
Here are a few tips to help you get a great fit.
Open-Backed Clogs
Your heel should be at the
very back of the clog (maybe
even a slight bit over). In
this way, you have the most
secure fit and are best able
to control your clog.
Closed-Back Clogs
These stylish clogs offer
protection for the back of
your foot and keep the clog
from slipping off. However,
these are clogs (not shoes!)
and will come UP & DOWN on
your foot. Accordingly, you
need enough room behind
your heel to move freely.
(If you rub against the back,
you will get blisters!)
Dr. Scholl's Exercise SandalsTo adjust the strap, follow these three steps. First, to OPEN, slide the buckle back by folding both sides of the wide bottom strap down with one hand and sliding the buckle with the other. (In order for the buckle to clear the pin, you may need to push up the pinhead by putting your thumb under the bottom strap.) Next, to CLOSE, slide the narrow top strap above the pin and under the buckle. (Adjust to your foot size, leaving enough space to slip two fingertips between the strap and your foot.) Last, to LOCK, slide the buckle forward until it locks over the pin.
Rubber Garden ClogsUnlike leather footwear, rubber clogs will not stretch. If you need just a little more room, remove the insole for a better fit.
Clog Pads
These adhesive pads attach
securely to the instep of
the clogs and hold your foot
back snugly to allow more
toe room, (just as you would
tie a shoe to hold your foot
back). These are very effective to secure loose clogs and also to hold your feet back so your toes don't hit the front of the clogs.
